At Ivoclar, our thoughts and actions are guided by the principles of sustainable development in every phase of product development, from the procurement of raw materials to the manufacture and shipment of the product. We are dedicated to fulfilling our ecological responsibilities with the aim of conserving our natural resources in the long term.
The environmental management system of Ivoclar was successfully introduced and certified by TÜV SÜD at the company headquarters in Liechtenstein in 2017. The system was subsequently implemented at the manufacturing facilities in Italy, the US and in the Philippines. Since then, other production sites have followed suit. Our objective is to have all the production plants of the Ivoclar Group certified according to ISO 14001:2015 by the end of 2022.
We have been recording our worldwide greenhouse gas emissions data since 2019. Our aim is to reduce the carbon footprint at all our facilities throughout the world by introducing targeted measures.
We are dedicated to making our packaging from energy and resource-efficient materials. When we launch a new product, its packaging is automatically made from sustainably sourced raw materials. We are making every effort to successively replace the packaging of existing products with environmentally friendly solutions.
Ivoclar runs a clean mobility project which helps its employees to reduce their CO2 emissions. At the company headquarters we offer a number of incentives that encourage employees to use public transport or cycle to work instead of taking their car. Moreover, since 2018 we have optimized our parking management system with the objective of reducing private transport. Additional sheltered bike racks have been erected including parking bays equipped with charging stations for e-bikes.
