Electrical Engineering Dual BSc program

You can combine the Bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering at the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FHV) with vocational training at Ivoclar. You will benefit in two ways: by earning an academic degree and receiving valuable work experience together with a fixed income. Additional information is provided under www.fhv.at

The structure of your dual curriculum

1st year

In the first year of the degree course, you will receive a solid basic understanding of electrical engineering and electronics at the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FHV). This will provide an excellent introduction to your course of study and your vocational training, even if you do not have any relevant technical background. If you already have some technical experience, you may be exempted from several parts of the first semester. In some cases you may be able to directly enter the second semester.

2nd year

In your third semester, you will be employed by us and you will receive a regular salary. You will grow your knowledge and enhance your skills in electrical engineering and electronics by working in various departments. Then you will select an area in which you would like to specialize: energy technology, automation engineering or technical informatics – depending on which direction you would like to pursue within our company.

3rd year

After you have successfully completed your dual curriculum – at FHV and at our company – you will be well prepared for a career at our company.
