Gauze swabs are a useful addition in a first aid kit and can be used for padding, wound dressing,  protection, blood spill, applying antiseptic and more. It is often used for dressing wounds where other materials might stick to the burn or wound.
Non-woven gauze is stronger, bulkier and softer than woven gauze, and produces less lint.
