The Ivoclar Smile Award recognizes outstanding restorative cases from around the world. This year, an international panel of experts recognized dentists and dental technicians who showcased their exceptional skills and expertise through their work with materials from the IPS e.max system. The winners and finalists were honoured at a special awards ceremony held as part of the Ivoclar LATAM Symposium in Mexico City. The awards recognized impressive treatment outcomes characterized by precision, creativity and high esthetic standards in the “Proven Masters” and “Rising Talents” categories.

All winning restorations were fabricated using materials from the IPS e.max family. For many years, IPS e.max has set the benchmark for esthetics and function while supporting minimally invasive treatment approaches. Survival rates of over 95% after up to 17 years further underscore the long-term clinical success of the IPS e.max family. IPS e.max enables highly esthetic and reliable restorations, helping patients achieve healthy, natural-looking smiles and improve their quality of life.

All submissions were assessed anonymously based on case documentation, photographs and video material. Key evaluation criteria included clinical complexity, esthetic execution, material selection and patient satisfaction. A 16-member international panel of experts, including dentists, dental technicians and renowned opinion leaders, evaluated the entries. Representing Germany, Switzerland and Austria, the jury included Prof. Dr Daniel Edelhoff, Prof. Dr Irena Sailer, Oliver Brix, Vincent Fehmer and Carola Wohlgenannt.
