People are diverse – and their smiles should be, too. Ivoclar, one of the world`s leading dental companies, announces new shade extensions for denture bases and Ivotion® Dent Multi disc, expanding the options available for natural, individualized prosthetics worldwide.
In modern removable prosthetics, expectations continue to rise. Patients seek solutions that not only restore functions but authentically reflect who they are. Subtle regional variations in gingival tones, personal esthetic preferences, and age related characteristics increasingly shape the clinical conversation. To support this evolution, Ivoclar introduces new shade extensions across its comprehensive denture portfolio – a step that brings even greater personalization into everyday prosthetic workflows.
Ivoclar expands the colour spectrum of its premium denture base materials – Ivotion, Ivotion® Base, IvoBase® Hybrid, IvoBase® High Impact and ProBase® Cold – with the addition of the new gingiva shade D. The extension enables dental laboratories and clinicians to:
Ivoclar also expands its multichromatic disc – Ivotion Dent Multi – with five additional tooth shades: A4, B2, C3, C4, and D3.
These new additions complement the existing range (BL3, A1, A2, A3, A3.5, B1, B3, C2, D2), delivering one of the market’s most comprehensive shade palettes. A total of 14 shades are now available for Ivotion Dent Multi, providing one of the most comprehensive tooth shade ranges on the market.
Thanks to the harmonious, natural colour gradient of the DCL material, technicians can achieve beautiful esthetics without labor‑intensive post‑characterization. At 20 mm thickness, the discs support reliable, streamlined digital workflows.
