The evolution in milling excellence: Ivoclar presents the new PrograMill 7

Schaan, Liechtenstein – 4 May 2026

Enjoy. Work. Flow. True to this principle, Ivoclar, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of integrated solutions for high-quality dental applications, is launching two new 5-axis milling machines: the PrograMill® 7 and the PrograMill® 7 Pure. Developed in response to the professional ambitions, suggestions and needs of dental technicians around the world, the new PrograMill 7 series comes equipped with a host of smart features. Built to run with minimal intervention, these machines save time and boost productivity.

Perform. Work. Flow. Intelligent automation for enhanced productivity

Efficiency, precision and reliability are key requirements in modern laboratories. PrograMill 7 and PrograMill 7 Pure combine increased automation with advanced system performance, enabling smarter process planning. The new PrograMill series also supports a wide variety of restorative applications: from standard cases to complex, individualised restorations. The accompanying PrograMill CAM software delivers reliable results across the entire range of materials with minimal reworking. Fast calculation times and optimized milling paths form the basis for maximum precision and performance.

Focus. Work. Flow. More power for processing challenging materials

A major innovation is the high-performance 1.5 kW spindle, which can process even challenging materials such as IPS e.max® CAD and titanium alloys quickly and accurately. In everyday use, the new PrograMill 7 series also impresses with a generous 12-inch display and intuitive user interface.

"The most versatile feature for us is the new power to the spindle. We're known in my laboratory for doing bigger cases and more complex geometries. So, having that extra power has meant everything for our day-to-day. This newest version really is an improvement."

John Wilson, owner of Sunrise Dental Laboratory in Yucaipa, California, USA

Clean. Work. Flow. Flexible changeover between wet and dry operation

Another key feature of the new PrograMill 7 is its automatic changeover between wet and dry modes without manual cleaning. This saves time every day. In dry mode, the built-in ionizer neutralizes the static charge of the particles produced during PMMA processing, allowing clean and virtually residue-free evacuation. In wet mode, the integrated Active Air Suction system ensures quick, thorough cleaning and drying of the milling chamber. With its self-cleaning capabilities and automated material and tool changes, PrograMill 7 enables reliable overnight operation.

Compact and powerful – PrograMill 7 Pure, designed for in-house laboratories

The PrograMill 7 Pure is a compact solution for laboratories and clinical settings where space is at a premium – designed specifically for producing patient-specific restorations. With its flexibility and rapid responsiveness, it meets the demands of daily lab work with ease, supporting faster turnaround times, improved cost-effectiveness and reliable, predictable patient care delivered on schedule.
