The road to our common future

You have the choice between two different professions.

Production technician:
Production technicians are responsible for operating the various production facilities in the company. They plan production processes and set up the systems professionally. There are also responsible for the quality of series production. They ensure that products and production processes are continuously monitored. Production technicians intervene quickly and purposefully in the event of malfunctions.

Maintenance technician:
Main working fields of maintenance technicians are automated facilities, electrical control systems and electrical machines. Maintenance technicians build, assemble and wire electrical distribution systems for buildings, control-systems for daily used facilities or automatic machines. They assemble entire facilities which consist of electrical, electronic and pneumatic components. They test the facilities in operation – worldwide. As generalists with a sense of intuition, maintenance technicians search for sources of faults, fix them and realize improvements.

Part of the big picture

Every apprentice is part of our vocational training community, makes an active contribution to the interaction of the group, is allowed to get involved wherever desired and is given, additionally to the daily work, sufficient variety through project work and special tasks. We do this in such a way that we draw your child out of their comfort zone, encourage them in a targeted manner but do not overtax them. At Ivoclar, apprentices become qualified young talents with ambition and a feel for the big picture in the world of work.

Future opportunities

We train our future experts and offer former apprentices great opportunities as permanent employments or a course of study after their regular apprenticeship.

The apprentices already graduate from different subjects in college during their apprenticeship and can catch up on the missing ones after their training. For that, they not only bring theoretical knowledge, but also practical experience, which is increasingly in demand on the labor market. It is precisely this experience and understanding that apprentices can stand out from the crowd.

Discussions take place in order to coordinate and exchange information in the best possible way. Whenever questions show up, the head of vocational training and the vocational trainer are always ready to listen. We are a team. That is important to us!
