VivaDent® Polishing Paste is available in four abrasion levels to suit a range of clinical needs:

Fine (RDA 75): For gentle polishing of sensitive surfaces such as composites, implants and ceramics

Medium (RDA 118): For effective removal of biofilm and mild discolouration

Medium fluoride-free: Same as Medium, but without fluoride – ideal for use with bonding protocols or in cases of fluoride sensitivity

Coarse (RDA 171): For intensive cleaning of heavy staining, e.g. from coffee, tea or tobacco
Recommendation: Always follow Coarse with Fine to achieve a smooth surface finish.
We recommend VivaDent® Polishing Paste Fine for implants, composites and high-quality restorations. It is pumice-free, does not cause any visible scratches (even under SEM observation) and preserves the surface quality.
The fluoride-free Medium paste has a neutral flavour and was specially developed for use before adhesive restorations. It does not impair the polymerisation of bonding systems and is therefore ideal for preparatory cleaning, e.g. before cementation.
The unique texture of VivaDent® polishing pastes ensures a smooth, well-adhering consistency. As a result, the paste stays in place even at speeds of up to 3000 rpm – less splatter, more visibility and cleanliness for dentist and patient.
All variants (except fluoride-free) are available in the flavours Mint, Apple and Bubblegum. Bubblegum is particularly popular with children or flavour-sensitive patients, while Apple is a fruity alternative to Mint.
