Zirconium oxide ceramic (ZrO2)
IPS e.max® ZirCAD Prime for CEREC®/inLab® is a zirconium oxide block designed for the fabrication of fixed, full-contour restorations in the anterior and posterior regions. IPS e.max® ZirCAD Prime enables the production of high-strength zirconium oxide restorations (1100 MPa[1]), which can be speed-sintered[2] faster than ever in a sintering furnace such as the Programat CS6 or CEREC SpeedFire – without compromising on quality or esthetics.
IPS e.max ZirCAD Prime restorations can be efficiently cemented conventionally with ZirCAD® Cement, or alternatively, self-adhesively (e.g. SpeedCem® Plus) or adhesively (e.g. Variolink® Esthetic).
The perfectly coordinated Ivoclar products support daily practice by enabling an even more efficient and streamlined chairside workflow, allowing IPS e.max ZirCAD Prime restorations to be fabricated in a single session.

- High-strength: With a strength of 1100 MPa[2], wall thicknesses for crowns can be reduced to 0.8 mm
- Esthetic: Natural progression of shade and translucency from dentin (3Y-TZP raw material) to the translucent incisal area (5Y-PSZ raw material)
- Flexible: Easy and quick conventional cementation with ZirCAD® Cement; alternatively, choose between self-adhesive and adhesive cementation
