Multilink Speed

Simple steps to success
Cementing with
confidence

Multilink® Speed is a clinically proven self-adhesive resin cement for the permanent seating of high-strength restorations made of zirconia and metal, both on natural teeth and implant abutments. Given its self-curing, self-adhesive properties, Multilink Speed offers peace of mind and security, expecially when cementing opaque restorations.

Your benefits at a glance

Cementing high-strength restorations with ease

The self-adhesive resin cement Multilink Speed allows you to seat opaque restorations confidently, whether they are zirconia-based or metal-supported. It is also suitable for cementing lithium disilicate crowns with a wall thickness greater than 1.5 mm and for 3-unit lithium disilicate bridges (e.g. IPS e.max CAD and IPS e.max Press[1]) on retentively prepared teeth.

More security thanks to the high bond strength achieved through self-curing

Strong self-curing properties offer additional security when cementing opaque restorations. Bond strength tests conducted with Multilink Speed have confirmed its high bond strength on zirconia, metal and dentin even without light activation.

Tolerant processing

Thanks to its high moisture tolerance, Multilink Speed allows for flexible use in various clinical situations, achieving consistently high bond strength values on both dry and moist dentin.

Simple protocol

The MDP-based formulation eliminates the need for using additional primers when cementing zirconium oxide or non-precious metal. So, the application protocol involves fewer steps than the adhesive bonding procedure and is easier to learn.

Easy clean-up

Tack-curing allows excess material to be removed in a breeze without waiting.

High radiopacity

Given its high radiopacity, the resin cement can be easily differentiated from the dentin and enamel. This makes residual cement and secondary caries easier to detect.

Effective cleaning of restorations made of zirconia and base metal alloys after try-in – with Ivoclean

Other than for glass-ceramics, phosphoric acid does not work  for cleaning saliva-contaminated zirconia and base metal alloy surfaces, Ivoclean can be employed as an effective alternative. Ivoclean ensures optimum cleaning of restorations contaminated with saliva after intraoral try-in.
