Defects such as cracks and microchips formed due to the manufacturing process or characterization of zirconia and Sintron can not be eliminated by subsequent sintering. We, therefore, recommend green or white-stage polishing. The 1936 GREEN STATE REFINING KIT contains instruments for cutting from the block or blank, grinding the contact points, texturing the surfaces, and PRE-SINTERPOL polishers for green or white stage polishing.
